Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy utilizes conscious current thoughts rather than subconscious memories. REBT is based on ABC’ s theory discovered by very renowned psychologist Albert Ellis. ABC’s theory is about dealing with emotional disturbance in a correct way.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is all about focusing on distorted thinking. And here we help the client replace irrational and distorted thoughts with ones that are rational. This is achieved by the process of cognitive restructuring, which intends to make the client's thoughts and beliefs more positive and rational. This model focuses on people experiencing, feelings and interpretation. It gives people the power to change and increases their self beliefs. A positive ethical point is that, it allows the person to take responsibility for changing their undesirable behavior.
